Transitions of Spring.

The season of new beginnings.

Flowers start a new life.

Mythical bunnies hop around in little children's minds.

People take all of their sadness from the Winter

And forgive the pain that it brought.

It is the season where everyone gets a new start.

The smell of fresh rain water fills the air.

Still humid from the tears that were shed with the rain.

Spring break gets everyone excited for the impending Summer that will soon arrive.

Spring is seen as an in-between season where everyone shifts their emotions.

Their wardrobe.

Their attitude.

The ice in their hearts melt

as the cold, unforgiving wind turns to warm air that seems easier to breathe.

The world has less tension and everything relaxes.

The perfect bliss for all of those who endure it.

A break from the cold.

Going into a trasitional state of changing everything.

Emotions go from closed off to letting people in. Maybe not.

But possibilities in everything reveal themselves and give everyone hope.

Hope that things might just change for the better.

And in the last part of Spring, in the afternoons, you can almost feel it.

The time of solididty and being closed in is ending.

It's a bit saddening; watching the doorway that you stood in for so long is closing.

There's only a small amount of hesitation walking through the next one.

You know that that's where the next chapter of your life is

But longing for the life that you were so used to brings you back.

It's one the hardest things that we can go through as humans

Knowing when to close the door and open the next one.

Reason being, that we have no idea if there will be a next door.

Or if we'll regret closing the last one.

The feeling of being torn.

When two choices are given to you and you want both.

Clinging to a past that was already gone.

You simply have to have courage that the door you open will be the right one.

The door to summer awaits.

Human dignity + compassion = peace.
