Wonder...

When we're all little kids,

We ask questions.

No one could possibly understand anything at that age.

The most common type of question that they'll ask is

"Why?"

It's funny, being that humans were the only animals with reasoning,

That our young question the reasoning for everything.

But when we're little kids,

We say the wisest of things that later on in life,

We have the most trouble comprehending.

It's as though we forget everything that existed.

We were different people.

Little children say the wisest of things,

Because they see the world with the most pure of eyes.

The most precious and untouched souls.

The softest of hearts.

No emotional pain taken.

I was like that.

I asked questions.

There were so many things that I wanted to know.

And as I attained knowledge,

The more I knew,

That I didn't know.

No one can possibly know everything because the world doesn't end around them.

No one comes out of this life alive

And we're entirely too mortal to analyze everything.

There is always a future.

Things will happen far after you die.

Things that you'll never know about.

People will always have secrets that will lie

Just under your nose

So you shall never know...

Sometimes it is far better

Not to know.

Human dignity + compassion = Peace.
